After completion of the programme, a student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the theoretical aspects of economics.
  • Understand the basics of markets, public finance, economic growth and development.
  • Apply the theoretical aspects, quantitative methods and statistical techniques to analyse and interpret economic data to draw meaningful conclusions for policy implementations. 
  • Illustrate critical thinking abilities through the examination of the dynamic connections between economics and various societal factors such as poverty, environment, migration, healthcare, etc.
