The Department of Zoology at the distinguished Tezpur College was established in the year 2023 with unwavering goal of providing excellent education to the students of Tezpur and its neighbouring regions. The Department started with three faculties having contribution in different research areas and publications in reputed international and national journals and books. We offer Four-Year Undergraduate Programme in B.Sc. accredited by Gauhati University. Our teaching approach emphasises interactive learning in digital classrooms, incorporating new scientific methods and approaches to zoological studies. There are also opportunities for practical experimentation and research in two well-equipped laboratories. We are enriched with a library in the department.
