An extension activity semester was conducted by the students of FYUGP 2nd semester of the Department of Chemistry, Tezpur College on the "Awareness of water purification systems in rural and urban households”. The awareness was conducted in the nearby Kalibari area of Tezpur. The objective was to raise an awareness about the reverse osmosis (RO) system of water purification and to conduct a survey on the water sources and different water purification systems used in these households. The survey included both rural and urban households. Number of participants: 12
