The Department organized a Movie Screening and Academic Discussion Session on 13th March, 2023 with 'Revisiting Partition: Texts and Contexts' as the programme title in collaboration with the English Departments of Darrang College and LGB Girls College. The main attraction of the programme was the screening of the movie 'Toba Tek Singh' and subseqent discussions on the text 'Toba Tek Singh' which is prescribed in the syllabi of the Honours course.
