Around 25 students and 2 faculty members from the Department of Physics, Tezpur College, participated in the Women Empowerment – Career Opportunities in Science (IDE-COS) program held at Tezpur University on 19/11/2024.

The event featured a lecture session, an interactive session on career opportunities in physics, and a panel discussion on combating biases in science.

Prof. Srubabati Goswami from the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, Prof. Nilakshi Das from Tezpur University, Tezpur, and Dr. Bulumoni Kalita from Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, delivered insightful talks during the lecture session and engaged with the students.
