Six students and one faculty member from the Department of Physics, Tezpur College, Tezpur, successfully participated in the Semiconductor Ecosystem: Awareness & Opportunities for Northeast India, a one-day workshop jointly organized by Jagiroad College, the VLSI Society of India, NEISED, and NIELIT, Guwahati, held on 25/10/2024 at Jagiroad College, Jagiroad.

The main highlight of the workshop was a talk by Dr. Satya Gupta, the founder of the VLSI Society of India, on semiconductors and their applications. In addition to this, an interactive panel discussion was held on the opportunities within the semiconductor sector in India.
