On 29.04.2025, B.Com. 6th semester students of Tezpur College participated in an interactive session with Mr. Sumit Singh and Mr. Sidharth Dhanuka of Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM). Sumit Singh is a prominent figure in the field of corporate leadership and education, currently serving as the North East Corporate Head for PIBM.

Sidharth Dhanuka is a professional based in the Northeast region of India, holding significant roles in both corporate and educational spheres. He is the corporate manager of PIBM.

The session focused on skill sets required for upcoming job-creating sectors.

Mr. Sumit and Mr. Sidharth highlighted the emergence of prominent industries in Assam and essential skills required to be employable in this competitive job market. They further brought to the students' knowledge about their hybrid PGDM course which may be pursued through online mode too.

The interactive session provided valuable insights into emerging job sectors and required skill sets. Students gained clarity on career opportunities and skill development strategies better, preparing them for the job market.
