The well being and development of the SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and Minorities are important in directors of the strength and success of a democratic society. The UGC has introduced coaching classes for entry in services scheme to improve the status of these groups, socially and educationally, so that they can take their rightful place in society through representation of them in All India/State/Provincial Services and equivalent positions in private sector.
Tezpur College has also introduced the same as per UGC instructions since 2007. Many students has been benefited by the scheme by getting entry in to various at the national level as well as at the state level.
